Project I;
Contextual Study Sketch Journal of a Traditional Street
In this project, we are to choose a traditional site listed in the project brief and we are required to explore, discover, and log the tangible and intangible aspects of the street. Due to the rapid urbanization occurring in the city of KL, the aspects or cultural values in the historical streets may be fading away.
We are to capture the essence of the physical attributes such as architecture and street features, as well as non-physical attributes such as sociocultural attributes, and log them in the form of a sketch study.
Project I;
Kampung Bahru / Jalan Raja Muda Musa
Jalan Raja Muda Musa from Kampung Bahru, KL was the site that I have chosen for this assignment. With all the liveliness of bustling traffic and people, I was able to pause and really look into the significant features of one place in a while. I have taken pictures and sketched on-site what I have observed along the way and it helped me to develop my ability to observe and organizational skills, as well as my skill to analyze ideas.
I was slightly beaten by my time management skill (once again) and unfortunately couldn't perform well on visual communicating as I think the line weight wasn't emphasized in the sketch journal. This made me realize that putting in more effort in looking into case studies and methods to sketch as well as more effective time management skills can help me to improve in the future.
Project II;
Poster and Seminar-Contemporary Issues
Asian Architecture
In this project, we were to conduct in-depth research and discussion with 6 of our groupmates to generate ideas and understand the criticality of modernity and globalization issues regarding Asian architecture and context.
We were required to produce an A3 infographic including an introduction, abstract, conceptual framework, 4 research questions, and conclusion as well and we are to record our presentation in a video form.

Project II;
Presentation Slides
With Dr. Suchi's guidance in the tutorial sessions, I gained a clear understanding of the assignment and believe I effectively completed the given task. However, I encountered difficulties in communicating with my groupmates, who were less active in contributing to the project. Overcoming this challenge became an opportunity to enhance my personal academic skills. While grappling with the problem and striving to complete the task, I embraced the challenge and found gratitude in the experience. This obstacle prompted me to develop leadership skills by strategically assigning minimal tasks to each group member, ensuring everyone's contribution to the project's success.
