GREEN STRATEGIES FOR
BUILDING DESIGN

The Green Strategies for Building Design module significantly improved my understanding of sustainable architecture through a well-organized learning process. Beginning with comparative case studies (Project 1), I developed a foundational knowledge of various sustainable practices in different contexts, emphasizing the value of teamwork and collaborative analysis. The AICB Building site visit (Project 2) provided practical exposure to real-world applications of these strategies, deepening my understanding. In the final assignment, I applied green strategies to my architectural design project, focusing on passive design elements such as daylighting, landscaping, site planning, and natural ventilation. This module effectively combined theory with practical experience, equipping me to integrate sustainability into my future architectural work.
